Pittsburg provides tank owners with suitability for both services and tank inspections for their shop fabrication steel tanks, which are built to nationally recognized standards. SPCC inspections are for above ground storage tanks, which are both non-corrosive and stable. These also include flammable and combustible liquid tanks, which have a specific gravity not exceeding water. All tanks will be inspected to the standards for which they were built.
PT&T has qualified inspectors certified by the American Petroleum Institute, which are qualified to perform these inspections. Recommendations will be given to correct the causes of deterioration or tank leakage in lieu of just providing the symptoms. Our inspection and designing staff will conduct extensive evaluation of the tanks in accordance with the SPCC standards and provide our customers with a recommended program to protect the life of their storage tank facility.
